This is a threaded adapter to fit the Milwaukee M12 Polisher / sander. The adapter has m9x0.75 threads on one end and has an ER11 collet cavity on the other. Included is one ER11a collet nut, one each 1/8″ and 1/4″ collets.This adapter allows installation of any 1/4″ or 1/8″ shaft rotary tool accessories. I have found this very handy using a wire wheel.
