A. Because they’re a little deceiving. It’s a tightly-ribbed knit that stretches a lot to fit.

A. Yes.  You can customize the fit by laundering.
Q. Does it hold up and wear well?
Yes.  For years. It gets better with age. Of course, you can’t do terrible things like bleach it.  Bleach eats fabric.
